If you are unclear on what is the difference in taste between organic and conventional matcha, organic matcha is grown without chemical fertilizers such as Nitrogen, and as a result it has a leafy, grassy, and slightly more bitter taste versus the nutty, sweet flavor of conventionally grown matcha.
